Horse Pens 40 Now Open Again

The "Fontainebleu of the South" is now back open for business. Did you say business?...thats right, it is going to cost you $3 to climb there. However I don't think that many people will be complaining considering Horse Pens 40 is (not only the best bouldering in the Southeast but some say) one of the best bouldering destinations in the country.

Owner Mike Schultz told Camp4, "We are in the process of getting the paperwork settled, and should have the power and water on soon. We have the park open now (for now, we are open Thurs. thru Sun. 9am til ?, Closed Mon. thru Wed.) for day use including bouldering and hiking, as well as camping. Our day use fee is still $3.00 per person. Campsites are $10.00 per night (max. 4 people per site). We temporarily have portable restrooms for the convenience of our guests."
